Re: Best Practices for Chess training with COW

I start with material, games and analysis, published as a PGN file. I import it into COW. For example, I imported The Tarrasch Defense: Move by Move by Sam Collins. This book also comes in Kindle and Acrobat Digital Exchange (ADE) formats. I can set up the ADE format on the left side of the screen a...

I pasted a PGN game from the clipboard into an existing COW eBook and the "G" appeared. However, this does not work when importing a PGN game.

When I have a commented PGN file, I edit it prior to import. The idea is to show the author or source of the comment. Re: Import ebook

Select Dropbox. That command is no longer available on my tablet. I tried "Cloud Storage" but no files are listed under Dropbox. In my dropbox settings (on PC) I read that DropBox Plus allows one to "Access files from across all your devices." Furthermore I read that this featur...

Re: Kudos on Training and feature requests.

Figured it out.

"What is the purpose of the new(?) double arrow?"

To make multiple engine selected moves.

Re: Kudos on Training and feature requests.

I noticed a few things about Build 181: Menues and submenues are highlighted in blue. Looks good. Once one applies the "Start Engine" command, additional information shows up nearby. One can choose to add (or remove) arrows. The red arrow for playing the engine's suggested move is standard...

Re: Newbie question

I suggest you try to keep it somewhat narrow. It is likely that you will add games and analysis at a later date. That may be a burden if you've changed your repertoire. Here's an example. Let's say you play the Nimzo-Indian and the Queen's Indian. You might later decide to combine the NImzo with the...
