Commands Menu

Post by cwc5528@gmail.com »

Hi, I am wondering if someone could tell me what the best order is when creating your opening with regards to the Commands Menu. i.e. Analysis, Backsolving, Finding Leaf Nodes, and Transpositions. I get vastly different assessments depending on how I order these processes.

Help, much appreciated.

I only use menus and menu items that I know to be useful to me. Other menu items are presumably useful to other people, but I feel no obligation to use them. For example, I have used every menu item in the Candidate menu. I have yet to use the EPD menu.

In the Command menu, I often use the "White (Black) is at bottom." In fact, I would like an icon in the window to Flip the board. I used the "Clear Color Codes" command twice, and will use it in the future. That's it for the Command menu.
