Anybody interrested in exchanging COW-Books

Post by Albert Schenning »

Hi all,

i am wondering if anybody is interested in exchanging COW-books.
I myself am a correspondence player (rating about 2300+) and have a very big file (1.000.000 positions analysed) with all openings. So if anybody is seriously interested in exchanging files please let me know. I don't need some random PGN-Files you can download from various sources to import. I will upload my current book in a few days if people are interested? Book is max 20 moves deep, every position analysed minimum 25 ply. This is a 1 time offer to you all to get a great opening-book free.

That sounds like a very impressive analytical effort. I don't have anything comparable. I've made ebooks from free PGN game files, and from purchased annotated pgn games. I often do both. I start with purchased annotated games and supplement them with additional games, my analysis, and Stockfish analysis. I cannot give away purchased books.

The closest thing I have is all games originating from 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. e5 Nfd7 5. Nce2 c5 6. c3 Nc6 7. f4 Qb6 8. Nf3 f6. These were evaluated at final positions and backsolved. It was a fun exercise. However, actual games can be improved upon. I've put some effort into massaging this, referring to opening theory and Stockfish evaluations along the way. It's a work in progress.

Similar to to FreeRepublic's post, I don't have anything comparable to offer. I would be greatly interested in getting a COW book like this though. The largest file I have is from Mike's series on Kaufman's book in the section on the London...
