Using DropBox

Mike introduced me to DropBox and I used it to send files from my PC to my Android tablet.
I now have two wounded PCs. One lacks enough solid state storage for my files. The other has a broken hinge. Once the other hinge goes, that's the end. Neither keeps a charge as long as I would like.
I've started keeping some files on dropbox, accessable from either computer. This is working well.
I'm somewhat surprised because a few years ago I tried something similar. I shared folders and files between computers. Syncrhonizing files took too long and was too disruptive. Fail.
Now I am able to instantly open a COW Ebook in dropbook and work with it. There are no pauses as one might expect from cloud storage. The updated Ebook is always available to both computers.
