The following are my notes as of Build 60 on Windows 10.
1. Books do not recall their window positions internally. Adjustments lost on close.
2. Algebraic notation should be optionally visible.
3. Context Menu features bound to window preferences / Past Moves / Candidates / Comments / Board / ETC / making navigation easier and more intuitive.
4. Build 60 install replaces custom install of UCI stockfish 7 x64 in preferences. Should retain old preferences.

Books should definitely be restoring their exact window positions. I'll have to look at this and guess why it wouldn't work in your case.
By algebraic notation do you mean "not using the figurines?" That could be added.
I'm not sure you meant by "Context Menu features bound to window preferences."
I'm working on having the old preferences migrating as much as possible to the new preferences, including the custom engine settings.

User Interface enhancement suggestion - Build 60 on Windows
I would like to see a count of the number of positions written to the EDP file after the export finishes and a pause button so that I can acknowledge the export results.
Many times I walk away from the machine while EDP export is running and the export window closes before I return. I want to know the number of positions that were extracted so that I can adjust my EDP analysis session to run in a reasonable time for the amount of work that needs to be done.

1. Its not the books that are forgetting their potions, it's the windows themselves. For instance I make everything larger for my 24" Monitor. I resize the Chessboard, candidates. and book notes, moves, after closing and reopening, the chess board has resized.MikeCrockett Wrote:

Adjusted
After
Algebraic Notations for the Board are not present. The squares are not marked. I love having the figurines incorporated in the moves and candidates lists.
Context menus are the right click menus inherent in all windows programs (for the most part) for instance I right click in the book note section and I get a few options. It would be nice to have all features for each window available in such a context window, it would same mouse navigation and clicks.
Thanks Mike I know you worked hard to get this far.

Please be careful who you quote - There are two (or more?) Mike's running around here and I am not the developer MikeAtBookup.

ALGEBRAIC NOTATION ON BOARD
Just want to support the request to have A-H and 1-8 as an option to appear on the board.
Have looked right through the menu options but can't find it so I assume it is absent.
Thanks
Stephen
PS love the COW.

Re: Improvements
Algebraic notation on the diagram will likely be added in the future.
