Copy FEN to clipboard

Just a feature request for a future version (I'm on iPad build 43): It would be great to have the "copy FEN to clipboard" function that the Mac/Windows version has. Sometimes I'll be reviewing lines and there will be some move or idea I haven't noticed before--"why can't Black play X here?" or "hang on, doesn't X sequence just win a pawn here, or is that bad for some reason I'm not seeing?"--and it would be great to be able to copy the position over to an app like Analyze This to look at it in more detail.

That's a good idea.

I haven't used other apps that allow copying and pasting of FEN but if you have apps that to, then this is essential.

Actually you're right--pasting FEN is less supported in iOS apps than I thought. The Analyze This app has a "Paste" function that for some reason I thought I had already used with FEN, but looks like it only takes PGN. Lichess will let you copy FEN from the current position, but there seems to be no way to paste FEN into its analysis board. Chess.com doesn't have any sort of analysis board that I can find. SmallFish will import from the clipboard, but again only as PGN. The one app I just tried that that *does* take FEN is Stockfish, which will recognize on launch if you have FEN in the clipboard and offer to import the position, so at least there's that (although it seems to be a bit hit-or-miss about whether it succeeds).

Maybe an export function that will let you either copy the current position FEN to the clipboard or copy the full line (up to the current position) as PGN?
