Hello can someone pls point me to the right forum for Master Chess 8000?

I am assisting a teacher who teaches Chess at the secondary level. He had Master Chess 8000 on a Win 7 machine but after porting over to a Win 10 machine build 2009, when trying to load a saved game *.g98 file, the game crashes. The event log reads Kernelbase.dll crash. This occurs on any Windows 10 build 2009 or 20H2 fresh install vanilla. Have tried compatibility mode, running as admin. Issue persists.
